Marissa’s interest in horses developed when she was a young girl. She competed in just about everything from costume classes to hunter/jumpers. Marissa is a 2010 Equestrian Science graduate from William Woods University, receiving her MBA in 2012, which allowed her to channel her love for horses into a full time business. Marissa has a strong background in equine activities such as rehabilitating race horses, serving as the Hunter/Jumper show team president in college, volunteering her time on the board of MSHA, showing across the country, and now breeding future performance horses. Between caring for her horses at her barn and competing in shows, she is often to be found within a few feet of a horse. Marissa’s infectious personality also ensures that she knows no stranger; she would be happy to answer any questions you have.
